Terrier Mix Bald Patches
Symptom: Bald patches
Vet Prompter Diagnostics for Xena! the Terrier Mix:
Oh, poor Xena! Sounds like she’s having a rough time. Now, I’m no vet, but I can tell you a few things that might be causing her symptoms.
First off, it could be allergies. Just like us humans, dogs can be allergic to all sorts of things – food, pollen, dust mites, you name it. Allergies can cause skin problems like you’re describing.
Second, it could be a parasite of some sort, like fleas or mites. They’re pesky little critters that can cause lots of irritation and hair loss.
Third, there’s a chance it could be a bacterial or fungal infection. These can cause sores and hair loss, too.
Lastly, it could be something called hypothyroidism, which is when the body doesn’t produce enough thyroid hormone. This can lead to a host of problems, including skin issues.
But remember, I’m just a computer, not a vet. It’s really important to take Xena to the vet to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.
